The Pod

A proposal for a radical trade-off: ultra-compact pods for sleeping and storage (no private kitchen or bath) in exchange for superior shared amenities—pools/saunas, recreation, and study—organized as generous communal spaces. Pods are clustered and bridged, while amenities occupy larger sculpted volumes; the building lifts above grade to create a public ground and uses mostly open-air circulation to blur inside/outside and individual/collective life.
