I’m Lea Dobromirov, an interdisciplinary designer from Novi Sad, Serbia, currently based in New York City. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute (2025).

Through architectural training, I’ve learned to design through concept and purpose — what spaces are for, who they serve, and how they’re perceived. Model-making gave me the discipline of turning an idea into reality. Building things by hand taught me how to materialize concepts within real constraints, translating intuition into something more rigorous through scale, structure, assembly, and material behavior.

My work lives between body, shelter, and landscape, moving across architectural proposals, physical objects, and digital worlds. I’m drawn to work that heightens presence through atmosphere, material, and light. I’m especially interested in the meeting point between systems and sensation: structures that respond to real needs while evolving over time, where transformation and the surrounding environment become part of the piece.

Alongside independent work, I collaborate with studios and production teams on exhibition, experiential, and set environments — translating early concepts into buildable outcomes through 3D modeling/visualization (Rhino, Enscape, Blender) and hands-on fabrication workflows (laser cutting, CNC, 3D printing), with fabrication-minded detailing and on-site production support. I’m open to collaborations and new work opportunities — feel free to reach out with project ideas or general inquiries.
